Schon im Trailer eine perfekte Kombination

Am Ende des Monats erscheint die erste Episode des Prequels zu Life Is Strange, der die Vorgeschichte zweier wichtiger Personen aus dem Spiel näher thematisiert. Schon LiS konnte mit einem wunderschönen Soundtrack eine Atmosphäre schaffen, die einen nicht mehr los ließ. Auch für das Prequel konnten die Macher nun hochkarätige Gäste gewinnen: Daughter! Schon im ersten Trailer zum Spiel wurde der Song "Numbers" der Band genutzt und es passte wirklich perfekt. Nun hat Daughter den ersten Song des Soundtracks enthüllt.

Die erste Episode von Life is Strange: Before the Storm erscheint am 31.08.2017. Insgesamt wird das Spiel 3 Episoden beinhalten. Wollen wir hoffen, dass das Spiel an den großartigen ersten Teil anknüpfen kann und die Magie beibehält. Der dazugehörige Soundtrack Music from Before the Storm wird 13 Stücke enthalten und einen Tag später am 01.09.2017 erscheinen. Man darf sich freuen!

We’re so happy to introduce you to 'Music From Before The Storm’.

At the end of 2016, we were invited to write the score for the new Life Is Strange video game, 'Life is Strange: Before The Storm’. We’ve always loved the idea of mixing our music with picture and we were thrilled to be given the opportunity to make our very first original soundtrack.

We felt very moved by the story from the outset, it is such a heartfelt game and an honest portrayal of real life. Writing for the game allowed us to draw inspiration from the characters’ situations (… and re-living some of our own memories) to find a place where our music could live within the story!

As well as being heard within the game, the soundtrack is going to be released digitally on the 1st of September. You can listen to one of the songs "Burn It Down" now.
